This poster was designed as part of a group project about sea level rise in Kalmar city, Sweden, in collaboration with Kalmar Municipality. Our aim was to raise awareness of this issue in an engaging, not scary, way and to make the citizens of Kalmar aware of the consequences of sea level rise for the city's future.
Kalmar Castle was used as a background since it is one of the most recognized landmarks in the city, making it an effective reference point. The cartoonish visuals and dark humor were intended to make this rather serious and potentially dull topic more engaging for the youth, as they are the ones most likely to face the consequences.
